Honey was acquired in foal to accompany a client's maiden mare into the foaling pastures in 2007. We love her strong sport lines and are thrilled with what she produces when bred to Andy. Her quarter horse cross foal reverted to the seller who barrel races. Bear was absolutely gorgeous. (See him to the left) and Gucci is all we could have asked for (see her fabulous trot clip on the sales page video of her). Honey is clearly a class act broodmare. Honey was bred by Pine Ridge Farm, so it is no surprise that she produces athleticism - her dam line produced Easy Riser, sire to Pine Ridge Aliance, a successful competitor and producer of sport horses for River Ridge Farms. A sweet and lovely broodmare with plenty of babies left to give. We just so love to see a mare that moves like she does and when they have a super disposition as well - that's just awful hard to pass up. This mare is a gem. Gucci is for sale. We have finally gotten a lovely filly from her (our long awaited "rockette") in Galadriel, or as we call her around here, Ellie. Now her long earned retirement. |

Lyla has a partially fused hock as a result of an illness as a foal. We welcomed her to our broodmare barn after x-rays confirmed she would bear the weight of foals with no trouble. She was presented and registered as a 2yr old, receiving an impressive score from the AWR judges who gave her high marks for movement...in spite of her limitations! Her superb pedigree continually catches the attention of clients. Her Glacier Bay daughter was doing dressage before her loss. Her 2006 Ironman foal took site Championship here in 2008 and is cleaning up over fences. Her 2008 colt is a stallion prospect and sold in uetero. This is a young mare who has a lot to offer us in the way of excellent sport horse offspring. We are thrilled with our 2009 colt Gondor aka Donnie with Lyla and Andy. |

Queue was originally leased when made available as a teen rider outgrew her. Her fabulous pedigree and wonderful movement made her a very desireable broodmare prospect, so she was bred to Glacier Bay. The colt was very correct, so her owner was contacted and a permanent home here has been negotiated. We lost two prematurely delivered fillies, but our 2009 filly by Waldaire was proof that good things are worth waiting for and now we know exactly how to help this lovely mare keep her foals to term. We plan to breed her to Andy next time around. |
